 27 Days until the concert!

 I haven't written in here in forever (well since March). 

I was reading some of my older entries and apparently at this time last year I was already buying birthday and Christmas presents... I haven't even thought about doing that this year.  I should probably get Victoria's birthday present soon since her birthday is in a couple of weeks.

I think I haven't written in here in such a long time mostly because I've been using Facebook, well, that and the fact that I'm not in school anymore.  I had a lot more free time when i was in school.

And in super exciting news I have tickets to see the Spice Girls in December! Not only will I be able to see my favorite band ever, but I will also be leaving the country! I'm super excited to go to Vegas, it should be fun.

Everything is going pretty good with me, I'm housing sitting.  They have a dog, her name is Lacey.  She bit me when I first got here on Thursday night, but she seems to like me now.  She was sleeping under the covers and on my feet last night, it was pretty cute.  I had to kick her (not literally) out of bed eventually though, I can't stand sleeping with someone else in the bed.

So I thought I would update since I haven't actually updated since December, or maybe even November... it's been awhile.

I haven't really been up to too much.  I went to Banff in January, it was amazing.  I went up in the gondola to the top of Sulpher Mountain, it was pretty cool.  I put some pictures in my Facebook if anyone wants to see them.

I also went to the Christina Aguilera concert, the Pussycat Dolls opened for her.  It was my first concert and I couldn't have asked for a better concert experience.  Well, leaving Rexal sucked, it was way too crowded trying to leave.  At least the LRT wasn't crowed.  Note to Tori: The hotel was not sketchy, you just have a very active imagination.

Work has been good, really busy but good.  

I can't believe it is spring, it still doesn't feel like it, but at least all of the snow is melting.  I can't handle snow.

Tonight I started my second job.  I am a process server now as well (I serve people with legal documents).  Tonight was my first service.  It went pretty well, except for the part where I got lost that is.  Trailer parks are VERY confusing.

I actually felt kind of bad when I served him... but he must somehow deserve being sued or else he wouldn't be getting served.  He seemed pretty confused too.  But then I know I would be confused too if some random girl came up to me while I was shoveling my padio.  At least he didn't cry.

I can't wait for the weekend.  I'm exhausted, this week has been CRAZY.

It's my birthday in 11 days!

This morning started out pretty crappy... but it all worked out in the end I think.  Sorry to anyone I freaked out at this morning... 

Anyway, the good news is that I will be seeing Christina Aguilera and The Pussycat Dolls in March! I can't wait.  We've got pretty good seats too (I think).  They shouldn't look like ants from our seats.

Britney Spears filed for divorce?? What?

Anyway, I saw Ron James last week.  He was amazing.  He is coming back to Fort McMurray in January.  I am going to have to see him again when he comes.

Work is going pretty good.  I haven't worked overtime in awhile which is pretty awesome.   We get Friday off for Remembrance Day.  The banks and the Court House are closed on the following Monday so it should be a slow day since the other law firms will probably be closed anyway.

I almost have all of my Christmas shopping done.  That's right.  I'm awesome.

I am addicted to The Shopping Channel.  It's a problem, I need to cut back.

So that's a quick update on my life.  I'll try to update more often.

I am totally going to have to go to Edmonton in March.  Christina Aguilera is touring with The Pussycat Dolls so I have to go and see them.  Victoria told me that Christina Aguilera was going to Edmonton but I didn't know that The Pussycat Dolls were going to be there too.  That is going to make this concert so much better.

I tried talking to Elizabeth on the phone the other day; but she would rather clean her toilet than talk to me.  Ouch.

CSI was pretty good Thursday night.  Kevin Federline was on the show.  I couldn't really tell if he was a good actor or not in it though, he wasn't in it a whole lot.  

I'm getting my hair cut today, I have no idea as to what I am going to get done, I just know that I have to do something with it since it is driving me nuts.

I haven't updated in ages... mostly because nothing has happened.

I spend most of my time at work, I have been working a lot of overtime the past couple of weeks.  When I'm not at work I'm sleeping.. or watching my shows.

I have already started thinking about birthday and Christmas presents.  I've actually even bought some birthday and Christmas presents.

I dyed my hair dark brown while I was in Edmonton at the beginning of the month.  I'll try to get a picture up.  The internet on my computer isn't working so I can only go on the home computer when Tori isn't on it (which is like, never).  Now I am updating at work, but it's lunch time so it's okay.

I think I might try to take Friday afternoon off this week... but then again, I have way too much work to do... so maybe I won't take Friday afternoon off... I'll see how much I get done today and tomorrow.

It has been such a long time since I last updated.  I can't even remember the last time I updated...

Anyway... I'm at work now, on my lunch break.  Today is the first time when I don't have a first day of school.  It is a little strange, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.  Trying to get off my street this morning was a hassle.  The street was crowded with mini-vans and children who don't know what a cross walk is.

Over the weekend I went to Edmonton with Victoria.  We saw The Phantom of the Opera, it was a really good play, and overall it was a very good trip.  We were so busy the whole weekend we barely had any time to relax.

I got my hair done.  It is completely different from how it used to look; it's never been this dark before.  I even had to tint my eyebrows so that they would match my hair.  I am getting my eyebrows shaped for the first time after work today, hopefully that goes well.

While I was in Edmonton I bought the cutest pair of stripper shoes, I love them.  They kill my feet though.  Thankfully I brought a second pair of shoes with me to work today so my feet can have a break in the afternoon.

Lunch is almost over so I should get ready to get back to work.

TORI: I am getting my eyebrows done after work so I will be home later.  Call my cell phone and leave a message for me telling me what you want for supper.  I will call you when I am on my way home.

I tried watching The Hills Have Eyes this weekend.  That movie totally freaked me out; it wasn't that it was really scary or anything, it just freaked me out.  I guess movies with people burning to death aren't really my thing.  I think before I rent a movie next time I should look into it a little more.. and not just pick a movie because I hear it is scary.

Last night I met the hottie neighbor BEFORE VICTORIA DID.  He totally wants ME.  She is too young for him, and doesn't she have a boyfriend anyway? Besides, she is gone for 3 days and when she comes back she will have a fat face.  I will have time to make my move.

Tonight I had my first case of road rage.  I NEVER have road rage.

Nicole and I were driving home after the movie but we were backed up because of the construction they were doing on the bridge.  I was okay with this, I didn't really mind; I had to use the bathroom but other than that it was okay.  I commented many times that I wasn't going to let anyone cut in front of me because they were all being bastards and weren't waiting their turn in line. They were all going to the other lane and driving all the way to the front and cutting in.  I wasn't going to let anyone in front of me because they are too impatient to wait in line.

So, we get to where the other lane cuts off, and I could tell the red car beside me wanted in front of me.  I wasn't going to let this happen.  He saw the signs; he knew his lane was going to end.  There was no reason for him to wait until he was at the cut off before deciding that he wants in my lane.

I was driving very closely to the van in front of me to keep the red car from getting in front of me.  Then he darts in front of me and honks at me.  If I hadn't of slowed down when I did he would have hit me.  So he honked at me for trying to keep him from cutting me off.  I was not impressed.  How dare he honk at me for trying to keep him from cutting me off.  So I honked and gave him the finger.  I know it didn't do anything, it's not like it will make him a better person.  He knew he was being an ass.  I should have let him hit me; it wouldn't have been my fault.  I was in my lane doing what I should.  I vented the whole way to Nicole's house.

I was just so angry.  Mostly just because he honked at me as if it was my fault we almost got into an accident.  Which it wasn't.

Okay, I think I am finished venting for tonight.

I finally got around to getting the Phantom of the Opera tickets I promised Victoria.  I am really looking forward to going back to Edmonton, only if it is for a few days.  I really need to go shopping.  I need new clothes for work and shopping here makes me want to cry.  The customer service really sucks.  I also miss Chrome so much; it is seriously the best salon ever.  I realize this every time I go to the salon here and they manage to screw up some how.  Usually it is the receptionist or the owner... they suck.  I miss Chrome.

I had the best massage ever on Saturday.  I am going to have to get that done on a regular basis.

I watched Pride & Prejudice and Date Movie over the weekend.  Date Movie was really disappointing.  It wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be.

Work is going really well.  It's been really busy but time goes by so quickly while I am there.

I did some online shopping today.  I haven't done that in awhile.  After I bought the tickets I was still in the mood to spend money but I didn't want to get dressed so I went to www.amazon.ca to spend some money.  I ordered the Pride & Prejudice DVD (yes, I liked it that much) and How to Make Love Like A Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale by Jenna Jameson.  That seems like it is going to be a really good book.  It is an autobiography and sounds like it is going to be really interesting.

In other news, I am a reality TV whore.  I am addicted to So You Think You Can Dance (also known as SYTYCD) and Big Brother.  I seriously do not miss an episode and thankfully none of my favorite people have been voted out/evicted yet so I am happy.

London Bridges by Fergie is really catchy.  I love it.

I believe the hottie next door (the one mentioned in vick_e's LJ) is going to be here for awhile.  Mom said that he is going to be a carpenter or something... She wasn't paying attention to him while she was talking to him.  She can't even remember his name.  I need to find a way to bump into him.  I could always go over and ask or a cup of milk or sugar or something... haha.

I had a visitor at work today.  It was the guy that I was bitching about yesterday.  He said that he was there dropping stuff off to his lawyer friend and wanted to say hi to me while he was there.  I was not impressed and I think he could tell.  Hopefully this means that he got the hint and will leave me alone now.

I have the worst luck with guys... seriously.

Okay, story time.

A couple of weeks ago Elizabeth came home from an afternoon of shopping and told me that she gave my number to a guy.  It was okay because I knew him (I met him last summer when I worked at Syncrude).

Anyway, it took about a week before we could actually go out.  For our first date we went to Pestos for dessert.  I had a good time; it was a casual date where we got to know each other.  Our second date was a couple of days later, we hung out at his place and talked some more.  He gave me a really good massage and over all it was a good night.  While I was walking home that night I was thinking that I wasn't that into him.  I didn't know why I wasn't into him; on paper he seems perfect.  He has a good job, he has his own car, and he owns his own place.  You would think I would be totally into him, but I wasn't and I couldn't figure out why.  A couple of days after that I told him that I didn't want a relationship.

That's when it got ugly.

He tried to change my mind.  Why would he do that? He doesn't know me and what I want.  I told him I am selfish and demanding (which I am) and he told me that everyone was selfish sometimes and that he was okay with it.  Well I wasn't okay with it at all.  He asked me if we could still be friends; and I said yes.  I think that is where I went wrong.  I never should have told him that.  I should have ended it completely.  Even though said I would still be friends with him I didn't actually mean it.  I thought that is what you said when you wanted to end a relationship (even though I wouldn't call what we had a relationship).

He called me Sunday night.   Thankfully I was gone to the movies so I wasn't there to talk to him. I have no intention of ever calling him back.

He keeps talking to Elizabeth about me.  He needs to give it up.  Seriously.  I have Elizabeth telling him horrible things about me to try to change his mind so he will think I am a horrible person, but he doesn't believe it.  Apparently he keeps calling me "adorable".

I have decided that if I talk to him again I am going to have to be myself.  And those of you that know me well know that when I am myself and not holding anything back and you are irritating me I am not a nice person.  I am a very mean and horrible person.  If he keeps doing what he is doing he is going to see a side of me he doesn't think exists.

I almost forgot to mention that this guy is really good friends with one of the guys at work... great... that's great.... ugh.

In other news work is going okay.  It got a little stressful when one of the clients threatened to "take the law into his own hands" a.k.a kill his wife.

I am going to buy a new cell phone tomorrow, so I will have a new phone number soon.... 

I would very surprised if anyone actually read any of that, but it has been irritating me for about the last week or so now so I needed to get it off my chest.  I feel much better now.

My week off hasn't been going as I had planned for it to go.  I've worked out once... on Saturday; it is my fault that I haven't worked out though.  

Do you know what isn't my fault? The weather.  I wanted it to be really nice out so I could spend some time outside.  Has it been nice out this week? No, not at all.  It is supposed to be nice out next week though.  Not that I care; I will be at work.  Bitter? I think so.

I went for my facial today.  The face massage was the best.  I can't wait for Friday when I get my full body massage.  It has been too long since my last one.

Big Brother All Stars comes on tonight.  The viewers get to vote for who they want in the house.  I am super excited for that.

Christina has always been hotter than Britney.  I love Britney, but in this video, Christina is amazing.  I love the song she is singing in the beginning and at the end as well.  Her new CD is going to be amazing.

Yesterday I got offered a job at Campbell & Cooper and I signed the papers accepting the offer this morning.  I was very happy that they did decide to offer me the position.  They said that they were planning on me working with one of the partners instead of working in the typing pool for the associates and articling students.  That was pretty exciting; I guess they think I am pretty competent.  This morning we went for our staff picture, I am in the middle; I can't wait to see how it turns out.  Then we went out for lunch; it was really good.  Tomorrow is my last day there as a student; I am taking next week off before I start on the 26th.

My plans for next week include: working out, tanning, napping, watching daytime TV, and going to the spa and getting pampered (thanks to the gift certificates from my parents and Stacey).
